What a pleasure to read!

This book is considered one for younger readers but then so is “The Phantom Tollbooth”. And I think both should be read by everyone.

A delightful mix of language fun, a tale including a journey of discovery, growing up and plenty of adventure. Oh, and don’t forget the humor!

It also gives a lovely nod to teachers! I Adore this quote:

“Now, if you trust in yourself…”

“Yes?”

“…and believe in your dreams…”

“Yes?”

“…and follow your star…”Miss Tick went on.

“Yes?”

“…You’ll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren’t so lazy. Goodbye.”
